Annual Report 2019
Krona Charitable Foundation published its report for 2018. Funds raised throughout the year amounted to 25.67 million UAH, which is two and a half times more than in last year.
During the reporting year, we spent 20.152 million UAH on direct funding and investments in social projects. 88% of these funds were spent on health care. We continue the program of vocational guidance and social adaptation for boarding school students, as well as psychological assistance for children with severe illnesses.
"Our special achievement of the year is Dobtyi Pas (Kind Pass) project, which we see as a contribution in transparent and modern fundraising. We also received the Transparency & Integrity Certificate for accordance with international standards. We’ve got new reliable partners and held a bunch of charitable events. On the other hand, we are concerned by the increase in direct funding for treatment. In 2018, the Center for Pediatric Oncohematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at OHMATDYT Hospital was closed, which is a big loss for Ukraine’s medicine. Clearly, that increased the number of children who needed a bone marrow transplantation abroad. Still, we have some real stories, when it was our help that changed lives of children for the better»
